| Details: The Great Frame Up opened for business in November 1991 in Sacramento on Howe Avenue. We moved to 4005 Manzanita Avenue, Carmichael, CA in June 2007. Owned and Operated by Charles and Helga Popp, both Certified Picture Framers (CPF's) with the Professional Picture Framers Association (PPFA). Charles is a past president of the local Sacramento Valley Chapter of the PPFA. Helga's framing designs have won several First, Second and Third Place awards in competition with other custom framers, so you know your framing project will look just right!! We also use the products of 3 mat manufacturers - all top of the line with a huge color selection! We carry a full line of glass and acrylic products for your framing needs (UV protecting, non-glare/anti-reflective). Drymounting, canvas and needleart stretching. Our Carmichael, CA location has the capability to scan your favorite snapshot/photo or copy your digital print file and print it out on canvas, watercolor paper, or photographic paper for a unique style of personally displayed art. For those seeking artwork, we have an instore selection to choose from immediately! And with our "Shop for Art®" you can research or view over 60,000 pieces of art that we are capable of ordering for you or you can order it yourself on-line.
