At 699.00 per boom, they are a great value. Masts: 100% carbon RDM, 370 400 and 430 What a mast! Our new 100% carbon masts are soon to be industry standard. A few ‘secret’ construction techniques enable this mast to bend 30% more than 85% carbon Powerex Masts before breaking. Going into our second season of testing, and first major round of production, we have had a ZERO failure rate. Now that’s impressive! One reason is the ingenious feral design. Simmer masts have a feral that is secured with a silicon based compound, which allows the feral to ‘float’ slightly under extreme load. This results in more bending of the mast, less point loading at the feral, and less breakage. The 100% carbon reacts EXTREMELY fast, giving all our sails a more lively feel….
